Responsibility
This position holder will be responsible for efficient and safe maintenance of all equipment in line with technical standards.
Job Detail
- Oversee maintenance tasks in your assigned area, ensuring they are carried out both during normal operations and planned shutdowns, under the guidance of the line Assistant Manager.
- Perform thorough inspections of the assigned area every morning to ensure all equipment is operating smoothly and identify any potential issues.
- Address and resolve any operational faults that could hinder the efficient operation of the plant on a daily basis.
- Make necessary arrangements for both emergency breakdowns and planned maintenance jobs on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Create detailed plans for significant maintenance tasks to be executed during scheduled shutdowns (e.g., during KSD shutdown).
- Coordinate with the PM (Preventive Maintenance) department to ensure proper inspection of spares upon receipt at the Stores department.
- Ensure proper housekeeping standards are maintained in your assigned area, contributing to safety and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the creation of budgets related to the maintenance costs of your assigned area.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all maintenance activities within SAP, ensuring accurate data is recorded for future reference.
- Collaborate with the CPD (Central planning Department) to ensure efficient management and availability of spare parts.
Experience and Qualification
- B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering from HEC recognized university/institution.
- 06 to 08 years of relevant experience in any Cement Industry.
